The University was established in 1941 under the control of the Government of India. The University is located at Shahbad Daulatpur, Delhi, India. The University is formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). The University offers various courses such as Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) etc. Every year the university invites notification for JEE Main examination for providing admission in Engineering streams such as B.Tech/B.E. Delhi Technical University (DTU)
will offer admissions to candidates in engineering undergrad courses
such as B.E/B.Tech for session 2015-16 on the basis of JEE Main 2015
scores and ranking. For participation, candidates have to attempt JEE
2015 and obtain a valid score. This score shall be considered by the
counselling committee to admit candidates. The process of DTU 2015 Admissions
will be started from June 2015. There shall be a total of 6 rounds till

DTU 2015 Selection Process
Candidates shall be selected for admission on the basis of JEE Main 2015
scores and ranking. Better the marks in JEE, higher is the possibility
of admission in the desired course. Based on the scores, screening of
the candidates shall be done thru a cutoff score. The candidates who
score marks more than the cutoff will be included in the merit list of
DTU. These candidates will be given the chance to mark options of
colleges and courses in the decreasing order of priority. Further,
allotment shall be made accordingly with candidate with highest marks
getting top preference and so on.
